Amazon Glitch Leaves Student With Goodies

FBA best practices for shipping

Christmas came early for one student who has benefited from an Amazon glitch. Robert Quinn was sent a haul of Amazon goods as a result of a glitch and RepricerExpress has been informed he’s kindly been allowed to keep the £3,600 of goods. Some of the gifts he received as a result of the Amazon glitch include a Samsung TV and a Galaxy tablet.

In Bruges

Robert also received a chest of drawers, a bookcase, a bed and even a pirate costume as a result of the glitch. The student hopes to use some of the profits from the Amazon glitch to fund a trip to Bruges with his girlfriend.

Software Glitch

RepricerExpress has learned that the glitch occured after items due to be delivered to Amazon returns depot ended up at Robert’s family home in Bromley, south  London as a result of the software glitch.

51 packages were received in total by Mr Quinn.

Here’s a list of some of the good Robert received in error due to a software glitch.

  • £150 baby buggy
  • £50 portable heater
  • £120 laptop
  • Sony PSP console
  • £90 Waterman pen
  • £170 electric wine cooler
  • Lotus car user manual
  • CDs, DVDs and books

Generous Amazon

Robert is currently studying engineering at University of Liverpool. When he called Amazon to inform them of the glitch, Amazon representatives said, it was due to people gifting him the items through the Amazon.

Generously, Amazon have now informed him, they will foot the cost of the software glitch.

Christmas came early for this student after Amazon informed him he wasn’t required to return ANY of the items. A spokesman for Amazon said, ‘This matter has now been resolved and I can confirm that on this occasion the customer has been informed that he can keep the items that were delivered.’
